The girls basketball team is starting their 2019-2020 season and from the preseason they look pretty good.

The squad has four seniors this year and Coach David Carpenter says, “the seniors need to step up and lead on and off the floor. If they are great, we will be great as a team.” 

 The team doesn’t just have those seniors for experience. They have their entire varsity squad back and they have some very talented freshman coming up to help the team. 

The girls scrimmaged North Putnam in the preseason and they played well according to coach. He also said that their 1-3-1 and full court press looked good as well. They also shot well on the offensive end of the court, hitting nine 3s.

     The Lady Cadets are looking very strong in the preseason. We will just have to see if they can continue that over throughout the course of this season.
