New things are happening all around CHS. One of these changes has us dancing our way to class.
In the past, music was played in the hall on Fridays, but now after the weekend, students come back to music on Monday as well.
Friday music is something that has always been appreciated for its good boost in variety by the students at Cascade High School, but music on Mondays is a change that new principal Jeff Hansel has made in order to both brighten students’ days after the weekend, and to have more entertainment for students at Cascade High School.
The music can be anything, as long as it is friendly for student ears, and will make the days of students better. The music comes in all varieties ranging from rock and roll, to pop and country.
These songs not only help to brighten the student base, but even the teacher base too. With music on Mondays and Fridays, students can get excited for the weekend, and then start the next week of school on a high note, and boost the moods of everyone in Cascade High School. When asked about music on Mondays, 10th grade student Heylee Smith stated, “I like the music in the hallways on Mondays too. I don’t think there is anything I would change aside from music variation.”
Music on Mondays has proved to be a noteworthy change that students and teachers seem to appreciate for the variety it adds to the school day, and all it does for the mood of students in the classroom. So whether you tap your toes or snap your fingers, be sure to check out the new Monday tunes.
