Cascade High School’s Drama Department has been churning out successful productions right and left, and that certainly doesn’t end this year.
With great stories brought to life in the past such as “CLUE: On Stage,” last year’s “You Can’t Take it With You” and the insane success of CHS’s last spring musical, “The Addams Family,” these high schoolers have been taking part in doing incredible things on stage and will continue to do so with the Drama Club’s fall production of “Puffs or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic.”
Puffs follows a certain orphan boy who discovers his wizard heritage and is invited to attend A Certain School of Magic and Magic. No, not that one.
His name is Wayne Hopkins and the play follows him and his friends in their 110-ish minutes journey across seven eventful years.
Between the Triwizard Tournament and a battle against dark wizards, there’s nothing short of excitement and hilarity to be had at this show.
The production opens on October 27th and runs until the 29th in the CHS Performing Arts Center. Evening shows start at 7 p.m. on the 27th and the 28th, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Matinee shows are available on the 28th and 29th at 2 p.m., with doors opening at 1:30 p.m.
Ticket sales begin on September 25th and can be purchased online or at the door.
