The Cascade High School drama club is back at it again as they prepare to present the female cast version of Neil Simon’s play, “The Odd Couple.”

This adaptation of the famous play sees lead characters Olive Madison and Florence Unger extending their friendship to a roommate status after Florence is dumped by her husband and worries about how to survive on her own.

With vastly different personalities and lifestyles, these characters ride a wave of comedy through carefree lack of concern and obsessively tidy behavior.

According to club sponsor, Natalee Hessler, this play will stand out from others because of the cast and crew. “The work ethic of this group of kids is amazing.  They have been working hard to make this production a success, but are having lots of fun doing so.”

This is the third year for the CHS drama club, which has also produced a talent show and a dinner theater.

“The Odd Couple” hits the stage on Saturday Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. followed by a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday. Both shows are being held in the CHS performing arts center.

Tickets are $7 at the door, however presale tickets are available online for just $5 at www.chsin.booktix.com.  This service is available for a one dollar fee.
