The Cadet volleyball team is starting to move onto bigger and better things as they fought for their first victory  and are playing very well. Even though there is not a complete turnaround, the team is learning from mistakes.

The squad beat conference opponent Speedway for the first win of the season. The game was back and forth the whole night. They won the first two sets and Speedway came back tough and won the next two. The final match was a toss up, but the Cadets pulled it off in the end.

The team now boasts a better record as they hope to go 2-0 in the conference.

The Cadets faced an upsetting loss against Cloverdale. The team did not play their best, Coach Minardo after the game said, “I was very disappointed with the way we played.”

It was their best game of the season ,but the mighty Cadet team woke up and had a good day playing in the Covenant Christian Invitational. They ended up beating long time rival Covenant Christian in three games.

The team is hoping to rack up some more wins this weekend as they travel to Lebanon and play in their annual invitational. Make sure you come out and support your Lady Cadet volleyball team.
