Cadets go loco over hoco

Cascade’s Fall homecoming came and went this year with newly named princesses, princes, and a new king and queen taking reign.

The freshman won the hallway decorating contest with their “Suicide Squad” theme. The juniors took the dress up days win home this year. A lot was left to decide for homecoming week.

The freshman princesses and escorts were Ella Davis and Mason Tharpe , Lora Fernandez and Garrett Duncan , Gracie Johnson and Cole Edwards , and Carly Gibbs with James Lanphier.

The sophomore court included Sarah Burge and Hayden Fox, Zoe Crum and Ira Moore, Taylor Mayes and Cameron Ginter and Varinder Kaur with Nick Jones.

Junior nominees and escorts were Simran Singh and Jackson Franchville, Caroline Edmondson and David Durham, Hannah Decker and Dillon Compliment, and Sophia Bryant with Ben Taylor.

The senior King and Queen nominees were Lexi Blackburn and Alec Alderson, Laura Batts and Chase Edwards, Jill Hunter and Evan Burch, and Makayla Collier with Mitchell Duncan.

After a good first half of football the nominees were driven to the track. Each duo stood in place as the winner’s names were called off. Lora Fernandez. Taylor Mayes, Sophia Bryant as princesses and Mitchell Duncan and Makayla Collier as the 2016 king and queen.

The night ended with a hard-fought game and a great night in the Cadet Center with games and food.

Once again, the CHS homecoming night was a great success.
