The annual “Share the Dress” event hosted by Cascade High School will be held this Saturday, March 15. Every year, event coordinators ask for generous donations from both students and community members to help provide prom dresses for those who need to get fancied up for the big dance.
This year, the event will allow teens to “shop” through and select their dazzling dress for this prom season.
There will be opportunities to try on dresses as well as to have them fitted. If a dress needs alterations, a seamstress station allows shoppers to get their prom dresses hemmed, taken in and more.
Hundreds of dresses will be available to the public and everyone is encouraged to come out to support the program and find the dress they want to showcase at their prom this spring.
The giveaway will take place from 4-7 p.m. at Cascade High School throughout the gym with alterations taking place in room 209.
