This year’s girls basketball teams may consist of only seven upperclassmen, but that isn’t stopping them from working to do their best.
Although two of the team’s leaders have suffered ACL injuries, the girls are still having plenty of fun making memories. Coach Carpenter says, “This season has been fun to watch the girls interact with each other. They are always joking around and having fun.”
Seniors Taylor Mayes and Dixie Short have really contributed to the team. “Their attitude and leadership has been amazing,” says Carpenter.
With only five games left in the season, the team is going to work hard with big goals in mind. “We are preparing to play and win the sectional,” says Carpenter.
